Discover Your Heritage
with Eastern European Easter Egg Art
led by Katie White

Crossroads Community Baptist Church
I-90 exit 27; Junction of Routes 505 & 97, Erie, PA
Erie, PA, 2-4 p.m.

Beautiful eastern European Easter eggs were made by your grandmother's grandmother - discover your past from the Easter eggs of your family. The designs on pysanky that your mother made can reveal your roots! Katie White will tell us about the unique eggs from Rusyn areas of Poland, Slovakia, and Ukraine. Bring samples, drawings, or your memory of what your family eggs look like, and we'll compare! Katie will show us how to make our own eggs, so also bring a daughter or grand-daughter and a hard-boiled egg or two, to begin passing on your grandmother's heritage. Rusyn books, music and ethnic items, including items imported from Europe, for sale. Light refreshments will be served. Call (814) 456-7217 to RSVP.

For further information, call Eileen Zinchiak at (814) 456-7217.
