Please join us as a New Jersey Chapter member, Joe Roman, provides the narrative accompanying his showing of a DVD that offers an opportunity to observe seasonal daily life in the eastern Slovakian town of Ulič during Communist rule. It features singing, dancing, native dress, sports and spiritual life, including Christmas and Easter customs. There also will be an update describing Mr. Roman’s subsequent visits to Ulič.
Directions: Take Route 46 to the Riverview Drive Exit in the direction of Wayne. Continue on Riverview Drive to the traffic light at Valley Road. Turn right onto Valley Road and proceed to the second light at Nellis Drive at the Wayne Municipal Complex. Turn left and then right to access the library and parking lot.
