“A Rusyn World Congress in a Spa Town”

Please join us as Maria Silvestri, a delegate to the World Forum of Rusyn Youth, and Katarina and Orestes Mihaly, as well as Dr. Paul Best, delegates to the World Congress of Rusyns discuss their experiences and present photos of their respective conferences. The events were held simultaneously in the beautiful spa town of Krynica, Poland in June of this year.

Ms. Silvestri, a sophomore at Seton Hall University, will share excerpts of her interviews of young Rusyn delegates. The Mihalys and Dr. Paul Best, professor of Political Science at Southern Connecticut State University, will participate in a discussion of the issues raised at the World Congress.

Directions: Take Route 46 to the Riverview Drive Exit in the direction of Wayne. Continue on Riverview Drive to the traffic light at Valley Road. Turn right onto Valley Road and proceed to the second traffic light at Nellis Drive at the Wayne Municipal Complex. Turn left and then right to access the Library and its parking lot.

From Manhattan via public transportation, take NJ Transit bus # 197 from Port Authority to the Valley Road/Preakness Avenue stop in Wayne which is across the street from the Wayne Municipal Complex.  A bus departing Port Authority at 1 PM arrives in Wayne at 1:47 PM.
